Young Guns Shooting League Information

Joining The Team

USA Clay Target League is currently $50.00 to register at https://claytargetscoring.com.  It is not mandatory to register. Registering allows the student to track scores and their scores will be included in year end team scores.

The local shooting club BVSC graciously extends membership pricing of $5.00 per round of trap to students in the league. A round of trap consists of 25 targets. Students are responsible for the cost of their targets and ammunition. A season of competition is 10 rounds of 25 targets (not including practice). A 5-week season could be as low as $135.00 ($85.00 for ammunition and $50 for targets for a 5-week season plus ammunition however most students average around $300 for the season.

Levels Of Participation

  • The Blue Team – Student Leaders of the Club

    Registered participants of the “team” working on safety, mechanics, etiquette, and respect.  Students on the blue team demonstrate a mastery of safety etiquette, ethics and superb respect expected of our club. 

  • The White Team
    Registered participants of the “team” working on safety, mechanics, etiquette, and respect. While on the white team, students will engage in competition skills and working one on one with the coaching staff.

  • The Red Team
    Registered participants of the “team” working on safety, mechanics, etiquette, and respect.

  • The Green Team
    Unregistered participants of the “team” working on safety, mechanics, etiquette, and respect.
